Hillcrest is the coming of age tale of a young boy named Peter.  After suffering trauma's at a young age Peter must learn what it is to forgive and to grow.  Hillcrest is the small town setting that allows Peter the setting evolve.  The townspeople of Hillcrest are each played by different vocalists on the accompanying musical album.  Each vocalists  character playing a critical role in the upbringing and teaching of Peter. The name Hillcrest itself is derived from the village in Binghamton, NY where Jonathon was raised before moving to Austin.

 The story of Hillcrest weaves in many ideas about the role we all play as a society to take care of one another and draw upon love and forgiveness when we lose the things we think are most important and define us.
